What is HopeFest?

Hopefest seeks to reach thousands of people in the Chicagoland area through the unification of the community, businesses and nonprofit organizations. It's a power packed event offering information, health screenings, Kids Zone, over 5,000 back packs filled with school supplies, school uniforms and haircuts. This event is free to the public and host a series of live performances with various artisits along with entertainment for all ages.

Highlights of Hopefest 2007

• Total attendance almost 11,000 people

• Close to 5,000 book bags were given to needy children.

• 80, 000 lbs of groceries distributed

• Free Hair cuts given to 400 people

• 96 people received eye screenings

• 190 people received dental screenings

• Over 100 people were screened for diabetes & high blood pressure
